New bakes, rotors front and shoes and drums on the back. Radiator flush, transmission drained and new filter. I was suprised at the amount of fine ferrous metal in the tarnsmission pan and the amount collected on the magnet that sits on the bottom of the pan. The brakes, rotors, drums all still looked good, but after ~93K miles, it was time. Not much out there available that could replace the HHR.

You were busy, but you did what it takes to keep it on the road for years to come, preventive and regular maintenance is the key.

Sleeping in mine out in Wyoming. Why spend money on a Hotel when the passenger seat flips forward and the back passenger seat flips down. Simply add a Foam Bed and voila!!! Comfortable sleeping compartment. Oh, and The DVD player / Radio / GPS thingy I installed makes it nice to watch Movies in Surround sound too.

Showers, are another issue. Good thing there is Truck stops!

Glad you're off that Statin Sam, those drugs may benefit you in the short term, but in the long run they seem to do more harm than good.

Enjoy that sunshine while it lasts, we've been socked in since last Friday, supposed to be nice and in the 60's for the rest of the week...fingers crossed.

And in case anyone is curious, Acer monitors seem to be very coffee resistant.

Time to point Boo Boo north and make tracks up I-85 for K-Town, Michelle has already beaten me home in the "Mousemobile" and she is making something "really good" for supper.

Yup, that's the one, very coffee resistant along with diet Coke, Sun Drop, Cheerwine, 7-UP, and any number of things likely to be spit out when reading a zany post here.
