What Did You Do To Your HHR Today?
Got stopped by the Concord NC Police for not having a tag on Paddy, seems that while I was at Lowe's getting some new doors ordered, a miscreant stole my plate!
Well that's what I get for not doing my usual "walk around" when I got back to the Paddy-Wagon when he was "safely" parked in Outer Lower Siberia.
Hmmmm, now I have to deal with the NC Dot and get me a new plate, sigh.

Had to fit it in the garage to get it out of a possible storm... 2" hail with 70mph winds possible!!!
ALL THREE of my vehicles in the garage!

If I may, I'll ask ..
"tag" - a plate on the jamb? like this?
If yes - why the police want to see it?

What is the "Outer Lower Siberia"? I'm intrigued.
Ah Andrey, a case of an alternate term for license plates used here in the U.S. and Canada.
People will refer to their plates as "tags" depending on their region, license plate thefts usually occur when criminals are trying to hide the identity of a stolen vehicle, or use a vehicle in the commission of a crime.
Outer Lower Siberia is a term my family has used for years meaning you've parked so far away from the other vehicles in a parking lot, that you are walking in from "Outer Lower Siberia"...or very far away from the store.
Yes I do use security screws on my vanity tags Haunted_Hot_Rod, but Paddy was running a normal NC plate....the key word is "was" since I have to replace it, now's the time for a vanity tag.....So I'll be on a paper temporary tag until "PADDY W" arrives from the DMV.

Your license plate is stolen. It is very unfortunate. Well, my friend, I hope it's not a terrible blow for you and the problem will be solved in the short term.
I wish you to this little nuisance was the last kick of fate for the coming years.
