Where'd you buy that tip, Bob 2 the Panel needs something under the bumper so he doesn't look out of place with his stock "dinky dorky" tip compared to the other three with their GMPP/Magnaflow exhausts.
Picked it up on eBay for like $20...not bad really for a 4" stainless tip. PM me if you want the link.

Ran 50 mile logs on my E47.5 tune and made tweaks to the fuel delivery. It is up 15% from stock and getting very close to right on. The power spread all over the powerband like butter on toast. Advance seemed to be at or close to maximum. I can still run more advance yet as there is almost no knock when the car is warm. I took it easy on the way back in cuz it was hot out. I showed 104* on the dash while rolling and 111-120* IAT2 (post ic). I'm going to sit in the A/C indoors and drink something frosty. I certainly got some grins in today, though.

BF, sounds like you are getting pretty close. Intake temp pretty high, hard to cool anything using 104° air, Vince sent me an update, He is getting closer too, He likes to do it in baby steps. I was just checking to see if I could feel it, rush hour you know, hit 27 and held 25 I think,.... I was busy holding on.

New Grille

I got my new OEM Black Chrome grille at 4:30 today and by 5:15 installed it. No pictures yet I had some things that I had to do but I took the time out for the installation. Looks pretty good.

That's great. I want it to work for you. I'm more than close. Consider for a moment no knock at 22psi, 100+*F and 50% more timing advance than stock. (that 120* IAT2 was with stock airbox!)

found out the bumpy ride i've been experiencing is due to faulty tires.

called the place where I got the 'summer' wheels and tires, found out the guy that sold them to me had been fired due to embezzling, and the current manager had no idea where that guy had gotten my tires. i.e. no idea on if there is a mileage warranty or notice of recalls.

this guy said he'll shoot me a deal on some nitto's (regularly $180 per, $150 per since i'm buying a set).

still gotta come up with $600, but better than nearly $800!
and just in time for my trip to St. Louis!
