What Did You Do To Your HHR Today?
Walked around it and cried.....not really.
Spent all day yesterday cleaning and detailing to remove road tar (Interstate repairs)and bugs which was accumulated through 8 states on my recent vacation trip return.
Had an appointment today that I was compelled to attend and wouldn't you know it rained like a B---H. Oh well, we needed the rain anyhow.

I DROVE IT!
Got an inspection assignment - in Crescent City, California. That's 229 miles, ONE WAY. Left at 6:15. Arrived at 10:20, headed back. Lunch in Grant's Pass, then home at 3:00PM. One long day...... I'll make $70 for the inspection and $204 for mileage. Gas expense is only about $70, so I will at least pocket a few bucks for it. And of course, when I got home, I had another new assignment waiting - for Crescent City! I turned that one down. I'm tired.

Filled up with half 93Oct and half E85. Had a strange craving for corn whiskey afterwards. None at the grocery store, but my grocery-getter got lots of grocerys to move. Drinking a Gordon Biersch (not a supporting vendor
) pilsner to the little wagon.

washed her up drove her to work and back, just spoke to dealer about torque specs for all front suspension bolts, gonna torque all of them tomorrow and hope the squeaks rattles and shakes stop after replacing everthing but the loose nut behind the wheel, and that would be me.
Got it de-badged.
I took the intake off and cleaned the engine compartment.
Painted some new eyelids that are the right style.
Now just a wax tomorrow and she's all ready for the car show on Saturday.
