Almost ready to go in now. I had an old blanket laying around and thought I'd give it a try. Perhaps the upholstery could serve double duty as carmouflage, now I just need to sort out a slick design to hide the speakers somewhat.

Looking forward to posting some installed pics later this week.

Drove to Red Hawk casino in Pacerville. The SS feels like a rocket going up some of the steeper hills near Placerville. Ate a reuben sandwich. Dropped $100 on games, won $250. I can haz gas money.

washed her down , changed the oil and flter washed and reoiled the K&N air filter, retorqued thee front suspension bolts, adjusted and cleaned the rear brake shoes, still no shake in the steering wheel while braking, I think I have that issue resolved.

Since it was raining.....

Changed the oil and filter, rotated the tires (cleaned and re waxed them while off the car) and adjusted the rear brakes (slightly). Checked cradle bolts and suspension bolts for snugness. Also cleaned a huge glob of road tar (acquired on a recent x country road trip) off the running board and and sheet metal. Surprisingly it wiped off with a dry paper mechanics towel. NXT is great stuff.
