Didn't do anything but take a cruise today. But, I did finally upload the video of my ZZP DP.

For anyone who is considering a catted downpipe (high-flow cat) for your LNF, here's what it sounds like by itself, stock catback. No other mods (yet).

I wish more aftermarket part videos were on youtube, it's a great way to preview any part that would change the sound of your car.

At the angle and both at the back end like that, they basically sound the Same.

I mean your stock exhaust video and the new downpipe video.

Maybe a before/after video with the camera at the front end where the downpipe is would have sounded different between the two. Or the car fully pulled out of the garage to hear it overall ?

Did you notice a difference in sound with just a downpipe install?

I just bought a ZZPerformance high flow catted downpipe myself here, I am also installing a used stainless steel Bad Mab shorty header with it.

Hoping it sounds a little meaner with both added on mine.

Already changed my muffler to a Thrush turbo back in March.

Going on my 2.4 when I do my supercharger and ZZP Cammed head install, hopefully very soon here, I need to order up 7 bolts, 2 HPTuners Credits, and a few Gaskets. And decide on the braided stainless hoses I really want or not use them for now and swap them in later.

Thanks for the Vids.

Washed Morticia today.

American & Proud,

Yes, the video could be taken from a better angle. I guess you're right, the stock video does sound very similar.

You can hear it a lot better in person. The sound isn't much louder per se, especially not at start up or idle. But it is much raspier, especially over 2000 rpm. When I shift to second gear and give it a good amount of gas, it's pretty loud. Plus, my turbo is spooling noticeably faster and pushing 17 or 18 psi under WOT, where previously it never seemed to get over 15 (maybe not relevant for you with the 2.4 but worth mentioning anyway.)

Hope this helped. Your header/downpipe combo looks awesome! Good luck with the rest of the build!

......today I found the point to where the rear tires break loose. Nothing horrible happened, just evasive driving and quick reflexes which caused a 180 into a driveway.

...so much fun during lunch time dodging idiots.......
