The 2.3L turbocharged I4 in the Mazdaspeed 3 puts out 263 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque. Congrats on the new ride swerv0428 it looks good.

Sorry to here about your cat. We recently lost our cat as well, he was 21 years old.

Yup. 263 horse and 280 torque. Six speed manual and about 3250 pounds. Limited to 240 in first and second to help with the torque steer. 0-60 in 6.2. Should all be fairly on par with a stock SS.

Hopefully it is covered. I only have 64K miles on it. When they checked the tranny fluid, it was purple. Do you know if GM uses purple tranny fluid (possible royal purple) in their HHR SS manual transmissions?

Doug- Ur welcome.. Been there, never gets easier..

I can imagine your wife losing it over hearing that on the radio..

About 1.5 years ago our BIG Russian Blue cat (Dusty) just dropped dead with my wife playing with him & the others. Blew her mind, & I guess I didn't take it so well either..
They become part of the family around here..
