What did you trade in for your HHR?
2003 Ford Explorer. Too big anymore. But extremily reliable. NEVER saw the dealership during warranty period. So far I have two issues with the HHR requiring dealer attention. Not good. But I like the car so I will give it a chance.
I traded in a 1999 Ford Tarus SHO. It Sounded great had good acceleration was a blast to drive hearing the exhaust roar. Especially under full throttle. I had been looking for a car to replace her her transmission was going and I believe the cams might be going also. I had tried everything Cobalt SS to neon RT-4 Chvy impala SS but nothing really seemed to get me feeling good. I was at a dealership looking at cars and the said that they had this HHR new 2006 model 5spd LT the 2.4 enging and pretty much loaded up. I Drove it because I didn't have anything else to do. Surprisingly I really liked it, I haven't had a regret about buying it and trading in my beloved SHO. I also later sold off my 97 ranger several months later.
Wanted to trade in my son, but his book value was to low.. :LOL
Actually, I didn't trade in anything. My kid is off to college and needed a more fuel efficient vehicle so he took my Colorado 4 cyl 5spd crew cab. I now have a 1500 silverado with more add ons then would fit in my Colo. and an HHR

2004 Pontiac GTO M6 5.7L..29k miles.....Was having too many suspension problems....manufacturer warranty ran out end of August. Lost about $5k trading it in. Have a 07 HHR LT with all options (including 20" chrome rims off showroom floor.) Paid more than I wanted after seeing base model prices. It was $25,900 OTD after rollover minus the rebates.

to get him to school. Sad when his insurance premium is more than my HHR payment.
