Man, I can't believe you traded in your Harley. I got mine in black to match mine. They only make Harleys in black but I think Chevy has a couple of other covers.
I'm the General's new best friend. I traded in my Toyota on mine.

Nothing....

I had a gorgeous 2003 Mercury Marauder that was totaled on 11/4/07. I really gave some thought as to what to replace it with. I had a budget in mind and drove everything in that number bracket.

A friend has an 07 HHR and I really liked it. Dec 12th I drove a new one home. So far so good, nice ride

Didn't really "trade" in my 99 S10--in my family, we tend to keep all our cars/trucks or pass them onto family members--so "Indy" (it's indigo blue) went to my sister and brother in law (they gave me ALOT of GM points and some cash towards Blackie's down), and the 89 GEO Metro was passed on to my niece.

We live next door to each other so Indy still resides in my drive-way--always worth having a good, solid truck around when you need it...

03 Chevy Impala LS, 102,500 miles, fully loaded (except heated seats and satellite radio), black, full tint all around. Comparable to what is badged as LTZ on current models. Loved the car, hated the expensive repairs I had to make. The latest one I avoided by trading it in ... transmission going out.

I 'traded in' a paper check with some ink on it for my 2006 HHR 2LT "Y1"

...I didnt part with anything. that's right...once again, I "added" a vehicle, instead of "offsetting" one...

when will I ever learn...lol

My cars get bought, and driven until they are worth about the lowest possible blue book value due to their mileage...most dealers say "ummm...we dont want that".

Plus the fact that here in the bay area, Dealers barely pay low blue book...I could almost get double for a car than the dealer would offer.

The last time I bought a car, I did trade in my other car. I had a loan on it still, and they agreed to pay it off. Unfortunately the dealer never checked the pay off amount. I told them it was $4300...they sent $4300 to the loan company, and as it turns out, the pay off was really $3400....so they(the dealer) owed ME money!!! (ooops...geee, did I tell them the wrong amount?...ooops!)

I traded a 2006 Impala SS for many reasons
1)Warranty about to expire (2007 model came with 5 year warranty, still pissed about that)
2) Transmission had already been replaced, totally shot
3) Gas price is killing me, got 13 MPG
4) Although Impala was wickedly fast, I average 25 MPH PER WEEK. Truth is that I live in NJ, my commute is all on back roads, no highway miles at all, 16 miles each way with at least that many traffic lights. I got tired off having a fast car that looked like everyone else's Honda. I got a car that looks sweet, but isn't fast. I loved the Impala, but I love every car I ever owned (at first)
5) My boss decided (when he got his new Mercedes) that he could no longer make the payments for my car loan, and instead would give me the same amount as salary (throwing $110 of the $435 payment to the taxman) So he gets his dream car, I get to subsidize it. As partial retaliation, I intend to put large graphics for my side business on the side of the HHR and park in front of his Mercedes so no one can see it.

Last picture is as it sits in the dealer lot for $17923, which is actually a great price (according to Edmunds) should retail for $21,000, but I guess since they raped me on the trade, they can afford a big discount. I don't completely understand how they do their accounting, they raped me on the trade, but practically gave me the HHR.

1995 S10 Blazer. It had 122K and needed a new exhaust, new intake manifold, new blower motor, new torsion bar bushings, new oil lines and it was only getting about 9mpg. They gave us 1,700 for our trade, sold the HHR for 10,800, and gave us the gap insurance at cost. We were allowed to look at the old title which had the price they paid for the car. In the end the dealership only made $300 off the HHR.
