What is this door trim part called ? (See picture)

I just picked up another HHR Panel and would like to replace or paint this weathered looking trim part.
I’ve done Goggle, Ebay and Amazon search’s for Door Arm Rest Trim, Surround, Bezel and every other name I can possibly think it could be called.
I obviously don’t want to buy a complete Vinyl Dash Kit to cover just this one part of the arm rest.
Is this part removable so I could just sand it down and paint it and if so how is this trim part removed ? (the 2 screws inside the door pull, or is it held in by clips and just pops out ?)
Any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers, Davyo.

It is removable; 2 torx screws under the rubber insert and tabs holding it in the door. That looks like grime have you tried something like 409 cleaner?

It seems to be called 'Cup" 22736353 For gray the illustrations don't look anything like the driver side one; they seem to have used the same illustration as 2006-2008 models without the window switches. https://www.gmpartsdirect.com/auto-p...ront-door-scat

Thanks for the feedback.
Not a bad idea on trying to clean it to see if it’s just a grime buildup.
As far as the the removing the plate, bezel, cover,,,, whatever it’s called, removal of the torx screws and the tabs under the door would be done for removing the entire door panel, I just want to remove that plate bezel thingy from the door panel.
Cheers, Davyo

Simply remove the two T25 screws under the plastic pad in the pocket you pull to close the door, the rear is then lifted to slide the bezel back to release the tab at the front , you don’t need to remove the entire door panel

Davyo, If you remove the 2 torx screws that piece just pries out, just be careful.
THEN, you can unplug the switches and clean or replace the "cup".

‘Thank you, that’s the fix I was looking for.
I’ll just remove the trim bezel, plate, surround thingy (whatever it’s called), sand it down and paint it.

What is the rubber insert part called that sits inside the door pull called ?

What is the rubber insert part called that sits inside the door pull called, the actual “name of the part” that I can use to order thee aforementioned part.
And who sells those rubber thingys that lay inside the door pull cup ?
‘I’ve tried different variations on what I thought the part might be called and my guesses have not yielded any results.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers, Davyo
