Instead of ordering a part by name it is possible to either saunter into a GM parts department and ask for it then they will do the work of looking it up, or you can go tyo any one of several GM parts stores online and do the search by looking at the diagrams. Then you could do the work for yourself and feel accomplished.

Nope, I don’t have a thread about this, I do have a thread asking what the name is of the bezel part on the door panel armrest is, the surrounding trim piece.
The bezel surround and the rubber cup insert are two separate different parts that I’m trying to find the names for both so I can buy/order them both
Cheers, Davyo

I did find that parts page you posted DONBREW and used the word “liner” last week but couldn’t find the rubber insert liners on Ebay or Amazon or anywhere else for a “reasonable price”, they do have a the rubber liner listed on EBay but it’s $25 plus $13 for shipping, that’s like $37 for a 2” x 4” piece of rubber.
I’ve been reluctant to go into a GM/ Chevy dealer because sometimes they don’t like to tell people a part number cuz they will want sell ya the part or parts themselves for Chevy prices.
My question’s were two fold,, trying to find the actual names of the parts, the cup liner and the surround bezel and where to purchase them so I would not have to be at the mercy of a GM dealer.
Cheers, Davyo

Those little Liner pieces are just flat plastic pieces. Oblong oval shape with no clips or tabs to hold them in place. Lots of them in HHR's have disappeared because there is nothing to hold them in place.
You could just cut out your own from some scrap piece of plastic, thin wood or sheet metal if you wanted to. If you've got at least 1 of the originals still in the car, just use that as a template to make some new ones.

FYI. I put a small piece of double sided tape on each one to hold them down.

Well, anybody with interweb access can type "online gm parts" into GoOgle, then look for the parts themselves, you never have to shame yourself by being seen talking to a GM dealership. Most of them list the MSRP and what they charge so you know what price + shipping to look for. Most are GM dealerships.

But, if you want to rely on someone like me, who doesn't care about it, to look for you, that's fine. You never know if I looked closely or not. What I did was: go to the site tell them what car, then chose "body" > "interior trim" > "front door" then scrolled thru the illustrations. Took at least 1 minute.

Or, you could look here: https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/comm...rt-numbers-68/

BTW, they are supposed to be in the cup holders and the "coin" holder in most years, not all. They disappear into detailers vacuum cleaners.

The description seems to say that the panel is different than the wagon. Doesn't seem like it should be, but that's what it says.

It might be as the drivers door only has two switches, perhaps the cup size is different.
Anybody with a panel can you take some measurements, please
