What is half throttle?

I keep reading, "apply half throttle" or " Accelerate at 3/4 throttle" in driving cycle guides.

What does that mean?

Exactly as it states - press the petal half-way, or 3/4 way. It is not an exact science.

You didn't ask but; most of the "drive cycles" you find on the internet are wrong. It changes by year and model.

Normal driving over a week usually will cause all of the tests to run.
