What kind of car did you give up for your HHR?
The lease is up on my 06 Jeep Grand Cherokee as of April 2 so I'm not really giving up anything. I'll miss the "I can go through just about anything 4WD" but thats it. The gas mileage is awful (11/16). at 25K miles the front suspension has issues. tires are shot, the electrical system has gremlins in it. all that said, It was great fun while I had it.
I'm expecting my HHR SS in 4-6 weeks.

I gave them two trade-ins:
a '90 Buick Riviera and a 1987 Ranger - both of them on thier last legs.
the Riviera was a low-mileage beauty when I got it, but 10 yrs of commuting on Houston expressways is like a grinder. It was dying slowly.
The Ranger was a lemon from the start. I could drive it to work, about 6 miles, and back w/o much problems, but if I drove it 10 or miles it would start stalling and eventually die. NO professional mechanic was able to figure out why.
The last straw for the Riviera was when some @$$hole broke in and stole the stereo and busted up the dash to do it. The last straw for the Ranger was when it stranded me on the tollroad about 20 miles from home & I didn't get home until late at night.

HHR for HHR/SS
I gave up a loaded 2007 HHR LT1 that
I had for 5 mths......I really liked it ...."But" wanted the SS So when my dealer got their first SS (Victory Red) which was loaded .......the 07 with 5570 miles had to go.........The SS is great......Wolfie
Lease expired on a Mazda5. I just took delivery on a Victory Red SS with every option. Didn't want the Sunroof or roof rack, but I'm glad I got the rack, since it makes the car look more complete.
