Traded in my 2001 Red Monte Carlo SS for a 2008 Red HHR SS. Hmmm, is it just me or am I noticing a pattern here???

Kept my 1997 F150 great shape. My daughter and son in-law called from Omaha NE 3 weeks ago saying it was time I drove a new cool car. They found a new 2011 Black HHR listed at $24,000. negotiated down to $18,000 at a dealer so they purchased as a gift for me.

We met up in St Louis for a great weekend. They flew back to NE, we headed to Indiana in the HHR.

At 62 I love it and glad to be back into a chevrolet...

I totalled this.....

Rolled it in a snow bank in the Oregon Cascades on Oct. 27th, 2010.
It was a nice Focus - leather, 6 CD changer sport suspension, larger 2.3 engine. Someone else is driving it now. Saw it advertised on CL in January...

Unhappy

I gave up a daily driver '96 Olds Cutlass Ciera station wagon. It was stolen from in front of my house the day I brought my new HHR home. Not recovered as of yet. I love my HHR!!!

It's a 2011 2LT Crystal Red Tintcoat with black leather interior and running boards. Chrome package includes Grille, door handles, Outside mirrors and license plate applique. No roof rails. No add ons as of yet, but thinking about chrome ABS tail light rings, chrome ABS headlight trim for starters. Does anyone have pros and or cons for these items?

Sounds Sharp !!!
I have the tail light ABS rings, I like em a lot.. The 3M tape inside on mine was old, & I just removed it & ran a bead of silicone around each ring & taped them tight overnight.. No problems..

If you are even considering the IPCW led tails, the trim rings do not fit..
I prefer the stock tail lights & trim rings anyhow..

2005 Chrysler Sebring Convertible. Needed something more practical. I sure loved that car though.

Gave up my 1984 Chevy El Camino SS.
If it were not for the gas prices I would still have it.
I miss my Elkey.

Thanks for the tip on the taillight rings sleeper. I agree, the stock taillights are the best looking, at least from what I've seen so far.

I know how you feel Heavies. I had a beautiful '85 Camino. Drove it every day but couldn't stand to see it start to rust. I couldn't afford to restore it so I sold it. I really miss it. I'm counting on my HHR to help me forget.
