Don't know about anyone else, but wouldn't it seem awfully strange to have this little light illuminating the window switches............on the door?

Ok folks, please tell him the truth....the light is where the little ON-Star guy lives. He's the one that makes the call to On-Star when you press the On-Star call button. Remember to feed him...he likes mini-burgers and a thimble of beer twice a day.

Why wire up a light on the headboard to back light switches on the console, when ALL the other switches on the console are backlit? There's no obsticle preventing them from being backlit. It was a design decision, and I don't think the light's there just to light the switches. It really adds to the feeling of the car.

The switches in the door are illuminated on my SS. But it still has the ambiance light on the roof, LOL
I LOVE that light...
why people have a problem with the light in the ceiling...I think it is VERY COOL.

This thread is probably dead since the last post was from 2008 but does anyone know the bulb number for this? I want to get a red led to go with my current lighting scheme. I can't seem to find the bulb number anywhere online
