What should I do?

Okay... I want to do something to my HHR, since it's been quite a while since I have done anything aftermarket for it. So, in your opinions, which one of these should I do first? Rear leveling springs, drilled & slotted rotors, or a sway bar?

Speaking of the sway bar, I found two sights where it was only about $140.

I'm a little apprehensive about ordering from sites I don't know (bad past experiences)... Think they're legit?

Thanks in advance people!

Funny, I have been considering the leveling springs or the sway bar also. I'm leaning towards the leveling springs pretty heavily now. May go ahead down the road and add the sway bar also, but it sounds like the leveling springs improve handling a bit, so it may kill two birds with one stone. Personally I have had no problems with brakes, so slotted rotors would not be somthing I would consider at this point. When mine are ready to be replaced I may consider it, but for now I'm happy with stock. Long answer short, my opinion would be leveling springs, unless you need to beef up your brakes.

Matt,
I did the sway bar first. Got it from neverenoughauto.com They were good to deal with. Fast delivery. Easy install, just bolts on. You will notice a slight improvement in handling and on windy days. My opinion. I have heard that by adding the goldline rear springs that improves handling further.
Let us know what you do?

I had reasons for all three things.

Currently, my brakes are feeling like they need to be replaced. Sometimes when I brake, my steering wheel vibrates a bit, so I'm thinking that they probably need replaced, but it's not so bad yet..

For the sway bar, main reason is that it gets pretty windy here in Oklahoma, and these cars are bad in a crosswind.

The leveling springs - They improve handling quite a bit, and it makes the car look better, IMO... These are pretty much my only choice in suspension other than baggin' it because I can't have a constant low - Roads are too bad here in E-town.

I'm leaning towards the springs, but I will be getting each in succession when I can get around my bills...

Thanks for the tip on neverenoughauto.com...I thought I had heard somebody mention them on here before, but wasn't sure.

I will let you all know what I do, and if I can get my sister's camera, I'll even try to take pics, but my car looks bad right now. Two dents, and scratches on driver's side (damned barbed wire fences )

Get the anti-sway bar first and you can remove it and sell it when you bag the car if you go that route. The anti-sway bar really does help a lot in my opinion.

Hey have you ever heard of Michael Hedges? He was from Enid. Best dang acoustic guitarist , EVER. In my opinion and many many others. He revolutionized the way acoustic guitar can be played, just like Jimi and Eddy did with the electric.
Just curious .

Here's a few shots of him that I took:

I have not heard of Michael Hedges, but if he is as good as you say he is, then I definitely need to find some of his music.

If you want looks to go with the mods, then the springs first.
