For those of you that think the air filter is hard to replace...... the one in my HHR is simple compared to my Motorcycle. On the Goldwing its a 2 hour job.

As for design flaws, I agree headlight bulb access is a pain but having to remove the front bumper cover to replace the headlight assembly has to be the worst thought out idea.....with one exception.

Who thought up using a rubber edge seal on the thermostat..........after having to replace 4 of them now it gets my vote for the worst design flaw.

I know this sounds monumentally stupid, and it does when you really sit and think about it, but popping the bumper off once you've done it a time or two....makes bulb changing a snap. It just sounds so much worse and so much more involved than it really is.

Got another one after trying to check the water level in the radiator overflow bottle today .
Flashlight in hand head down close to the fender and radiator support bar and pray you can see pink antifreeze .
This should just be simply a pop the hood and look at a bottle task.

I've read this many times on the forum..... and I'm confused. I have no problem seeing the level in my overflow tank... From the drivers side of the car, look accross the engine bay and it's right there, I can even see the fill lines.

???Advantage to having a twisted spine??? I doubt it.....

@ 843de....

It's not a rumble if sleeper fires up his chainsaw and everybody leaves.....

Gee Greybeard, I thought that checking the coolant by looking across from the driver's side was some amazing innovation I came up with....great minds think alike it seems.
