It MUST be Black and it Must be a Panel, I will add the rear seats.

A sunfoof is no biggie to me, had them in cars past and once the newness wore off I never even opened the interior shade headliner, too hot with the sun beating down on your head.

The usual power stuff like windows and locks with remote are more useful to me.

Remote Start is very nice for starting the car with the AC or the heat on to step into the car and not bake or freeze your butt off .

Running boards, roof rack and Chrome options I want on it too.

I like the subwoofer built in, even tho I would be upgrading the stereo system, good to have a place out of the way for a subwoofer.

I will tear out my current stereo system in my Astro Van befor trading it in or outright selling it. And use the 2 Amps in the HHR, maybe some of the 8 speakers from the Astro as well.

My Astro came with the premium system for it's time with seperate tweeters in the front doors CD and Cassette, I rewired it all adding a new head unit, 8 new speakers, 2 amps and a subwoofer, so hopefully I can utilize some into the HHR.

I have a multitude of Mods all planned for it as well.
Then perhaps you would want a 2LT Panel, that's the most loaded..
No SS panel for me, I'm very happy with my 2LT panel..

Or you can get a base LS & build it your way ? But no 2.4 in LS

And glad mine has No sun-roof, I don't care for them & just a place that may some time leak..

The one I want to look at (pics shown) is a LT with 2.4, if it turns out to have the Sub like it looks like it might have, it is pretty much what I am after.

Is it a LT1 or LT2, I have no clue, whats the difference?

A SS would be nice to have, but it's not a high priority, if one happened along at the right price, then maybe.

BLACK and a pretty Loaded PANEL HHR is Number ONE.

Again, sunroof isnt real high on my list, if it has one, fine, if not, no biggie to me.

Glove box door has info on this..

1LT comes with 2.2 or can be ordered with 2.4 as well as other options.

2LT all the goodies are all mostly already there. Mine doesn't have heated seats or sunroof.. (which I didn't want)..
SS is cool, but you should ride in one first imo..

I'll check that out, Thanks.

My wife just got home and the Wake is Saturday and the Funeral in Sunday.

Maybe we will go look at it Friday, I am doubting it tho, all depends on how she is feeling tomorrow.

Otherwise fingers crossed it's still available on Monday morning.

For the added cost just to have an SS I can Easily Pass on one.

Since they are no longer made, New.
IF they were, and my settlement case was done, I would have bought one outright cash, but since that is no longer the case, I am Tired of waiting and will just buy a Nice HHR used, with what I want on it.

And add the 55 tail lights to it. Those are VERY COOL.

I have a 55 Bel Air so those are a HIGH PRIORITY item for my future HHR.

A little Update on this one.

I went and looked at it the other night when the dealer was Closed. I wanted to look it over without a sales person breathing down my neck.

And I wanted to wait until we Secured our own financing. We now have that covered and a Blank Check is being overnighted to us by Fed Ex and is supposed to be at our door by 10:30AM Tuesday.

We applied online with Capital One. We got a Blank Check that is good for Up Too $10,800.00, we can write it for less, or Not use it at all it is Good for 45 days, and the Dealer is listed as one they allow. Minimum I can write the check for is $7,500.00.

Then they said something about KBB pricing and something about 110% ???

We get a "Package" with the check tomorrow that explains the whole deal.

There is No penalty fees for paying it off Early. but the minimum loan term is 36 months, I plan on paying it off in 12 months.

Some things I found out going to LOOK at it in person-

Hard to tell at night, but Looks to have the Subwoofer and the Tweeters in the Pillars. Does that mean its the Pioneer set up? NO "Load' CD button on the Radio head????

They claim 16 inch steel wheels with wheel covers, It actually has the 17 inch Chrome Alloy Rims with Firestone P215/50R17 tires on it.

They do not advertise it as having the CHROME package but it Does have the Chrome door handles, Chrome Mirrors, Chrome Grill, and the Chrome hatch piece?

It has the Chrome Exhaust Tip too.

As you can see in the pics thare is a "mount" of some kind in the AC Vent? I Noticed a wire coming out of the hatch back with a flat round disk next to the rear onstar antenna thats says "sirrus" on it, Not sure IF they have the actual UNIT that mounts, if they didn't why leave the mount thing in the AC Vent ?

I noticed it does have the Leather wrapped steering wheel.
Auto Dimming rear view mirror with Compass.
It has the Fog Lights.

2.4 L Engine.

They are NOT claiming it to be a "Certified" used car, one owner, clean carfax, Chevy Dealer, Why not I wonder?

Although, the Paper in the windsheild says Certified? How can I be CERTAIN?

They have Lowered their asking price now too, after I made email contact with them, then said their price was too High. LOL

I can't be Sure if it is a LT1 with Added options or a LT2 until I get the check in the morning and we go Drive it and look in the glove box door for more info.

They have a "Model Code" as- 1AS26?

I have DETAILED my 2000 Astro Van up while I was getting everything in place with Financing and she looks Good, I HOPE they will give me at least 2800 for it, Or I will tell them sorry I will put it up for sale privately and buy another Panel elsewere if this one is sold before then.

Title in hand for the Astro, Blank Check and another $1500.00 Cash in hand should help them see things MY way. (I Hope!) LOL

They are now asking $12,493.00 for it with 19,078 miles on it.

They were at $13.900.

At least they have been dropping the price by $500.00 increments, good for ME, lol.

So as soon as the Fed Ex truck arrives in the morning with my blank check I am off to do Battle with the car salesman.

Wish me Luck!

Hope you get it...... It's a 2LT as far as I can tell, I ran the VIN and it comes back as a 2LT anyways. From afar it looks like a great car.

Best of luck

Yeah..... I want it bad too.... but it's your find. I was even toying with the idea of trying to figure out the logistics of buying it from out of state and then getting rid of mine. (Don't tell my car, okay?) If I were to order one new.... it would have been that one. In the end I just figured why be a creep and pull the rug out from under You.... Karma would have bit me on that one for sure...

I think they will strike a deal with You, they have been sitting on it for some time..... Enjoy

Thanks VERY Much.

I know it's Anyones until the Money is paid, and my sister in law passing so soon, took my wife and I by surprize.

I didn't want to Push her to go car buying for Me while she was so upset.

I thought with my luck it would sell before we set up financing.

IF, for some reason, I walk away from this I WILL PM you and tell you it's yours to go get.

They would have to be darn FIRM on the price and offer me zilch on my Astro though to be Honest, but it Could happen.

I have had 2 Astro's Both times I WANTED a BLACK one, and could NOT find one, Until After I'd give up and take a good running other color one. Then one would pop up, they were pretty Rare in Black.

Dang, I had a whole post typed out here, then my Macaw decided it was time to run across the keyboard and deleted the whole thing before I posted.

Silly Bird!

Well anyways I did by it and got it for 12,000.00 and got $4000.00 for my Astro after alot of haggeling, and I put down another $1,500.00 cash so after taxes title plates and what not I am only financing about $7,500.00.

I plan to pay that off within a year or less.

Now I gotta set aside some Cash for the 1955 Tail lights, wife wants no mods until its paid for, SHHHHHH. Yeah RIIIIGHT, like that'll happen! LOL

I'll get em beforehand and paint them Black. I was a body and fender combo man many years ago, for about 12 years.

And Yes it IS a LT2 with the Pioneer speakers and sub.

I got the Build printout from the manager and have to look it over yet, lotta Nice options. It sure is alot Smaller than my Astro Van, and I gotta get used to No windows, I just naturally turn my head to LOOK out the Astro side windows sitting higher up, now sitting Low and No windows! lol

They only had one key and key fob, I made them give me another and waited for them to program them to work. Why should I pay for a second key and remote I say. lol Lukily it was a Chevy lot so they had them in the parts department.
