Name game

2006 2.4 5 spd. Daytona blue LT model w/ running boards, wing and shiny trim. Stock commuter and general funmobile. OK the name. First it was goning to be BLEWBYU so the license plate could double as the car's handle. But it turns out Chevy named it for me and put chrome letters on the back saying HHR LT. She became The Harlot. The name stuck with my family and now when they spot a nice one they call all HHRs harlots.

The wife has named all three of our HHR's. We picked up our first in May 06. It was a Spring Edition so she called it "Big Red".

I then ordered a 2009 SS in Blue Flash Metallic and picked it up in Sept 08. After she drove it a few times she felt it should be called the "Blue Beast".

Then in Jan 09 Benda was getting tired of driving rush hour with the manual in "Big Red". So she traded in "Big Red" for a 2009 2LT automatic in Crystal Red Metallic. She loved how the paint sparkled in the sunlight, so of course she called it "Sparkle"

We have a Tom-Tom and I added the Homer Simpson voice upgrade to it. Last time I had the Tom-Tom in the car, it felt like the H was running well...so, I called it Homer. Do I have the only talking, named HHR? hahaha:)

Paddington or Paddy for short of course. The other half named her Honda Winnie so I had to pick another bear name. I gave serious thought to Yogi, Boo Boo, and some others. Yeah, not a very macho name, but "Gothar the Traffic Destroyer" just didn't seem to work on an HHR.
