My college age daughter named him.

I know this is an old thread, but I was curious as to what everyone calls their hhr's. I'm not quite sure why, but my new hhr seems to be a Beauregard. Beau, for short. Which seems weird to me because usually my vehicles are female.

My wife's 06 2LT white in color is called "Angel" as it saved us when we were a car short, and needed another.

Newbie here, had some fun browsing through this thread. I've never in my life named a car, but my wife always named hers. She wants me to name the bright red 2009 HHR LS I bought Monday. When I balked, she threatened to call it "Amanda." I will not go into why that is entirely unacceptable.

This is the first car we've owned in over 4 years. After a some really bad breaks, a bunch of really good ones came our way, and now I find myself with the very car I'd wished for, in the color I wanted, paid for at a good price. That's God's grace IMO (or the Universe telling me something, if you prefer, or Wakan Tanka, or whatever). So now for the first time in nearly 50 years of cars, my new ride has a name: Grace.
