When did Chevy stop HHR TV ads?

I remember a few from 06 and 07, but haven't seen any for a while. I admit I don't watch much TV, but it seems that GM kills there cars by ignoring them sometimes.

In the 4 years of ownership, I only saw maybe three TV HHR advertisments.

I have seen them in Chey sales spots but I do not recall any ads that were just HHR alone.

Heck I have yet to get a 2010 Dealer book since most dealers here did not get them this year.

The time the HHR thrived was a time when Chevy was in the worst shape it has ever been in. The HHR was selling so they did not put the money in marketing.

Yeah, back in '06 they advertised the heck out of them. Then GM started having financial trouble, so you didn't see ANY ads from them. By the time they started re-airing ads this past year or so (with the exception of maybe the trucks and Malibu), the HHR is already a "back-burner" model, meaning they have no plans for it to continue, and they're just letting it sell until it's near death... No point in promoting a product that has no future.

Yeah, you are 100% right. I can't tell you how many people told me that they didn't even know that GM made a HHR SS Panel. Could be that's why it didn't make it past 216 production numbers-No one knew!

You don't need to advertise a car that sells itself in such a specialized market.
