And "officer" you better figure more like $4.00/gal for gas. It's already $3.25 here in the greater Phoenix area and upstate, Flagstaff for instance, it is always 25-35 cents more per gal.

I figure another half buck by summer (June) is not unreasonable.

Gasoline on the West Coast is already over $3.50 per gallon at most stations and going up almost every day, it seems. I expect it to be over $4.00 per gallon soon.

 

Blah. Maybe I'll take the train out there and taxi around or rent a Segway..

 

or take a Segway or Taxi out there and rent a Train to get around .....

 

Amtrak isn't very cheap. Well, if you get just a seat it may be, but it's a 3 day trip from Flint...so you'd probably want a room with a shower, that's over $1,000.

Eric, I can live with no room. And btw, if you upgrade to a room just before leaving, it can be cheap. just a coach seat is $380 round trip.
