Meth Capital of the US.......... EEK !!!

Where he lives seemed like a decent hood.. But you'd know better n me.. We generally only stay about 7 to 10 days..& travel a bit when there.

Will keep you in mind for next trip.. No telling when, but overdue.

Maybe I'm the only member of the "Brotherhood of The Iron Butt" here, its 760 miles to my store in northern PA. I make one stop in Maryland to top the gas tank, and empty my ummm...tank, otherwise the wheels don't stop turning. 300-400 miles in a day and I'd never get anywhere, too many years hauling tail from a Friday night feature here and needing to be at another track three states over for Saturday afternoon practice. I think Kev just needs to revise his timetable a bit and really lock in a route, but then be prepared to detour if needed.

No, I've run from S.Fla to Pa. 1,200 miles in 21 hours, just gas w P/stops.
Several trips up, & back.

But I thought he was talking about trying to get a group to run a pack. Thats a lil different..

Yeah sleeper, if this turns into a convoy of sorts the daily mileage totals will be closer to 400 or so. I've done few "fun" convoy deals and it always seemed easier to tell folks what exit to stop at so we could regroup. Some people like to make time, some like to cruise, and some like the guy on the Corvair cruise a couple years back....have no sense of direction whatsoever. At one point he lost us and ended up heading in the opposite direction, he only realized he had a problem when the other half asked if there were really two Macon's in Georgia!

Might be more fun with a pack, but running solo is best to eat the miles..

I am not doing ALL of my mods right now. Only a small few. But the trip is still on.

I do know what I am doing. I was trying to find people along the way to say hi to from here. But it's not going to happen.
