How well do the in channel vents work? like do they fall out or anyhthing im about to order some and i want the best ones.

I have the ones that SoCal sold and they are in there to stay.

The rear ones use 3M tape to hold them in place, the front ones are held in without tape, simply using the pressure generated from the design of them (best way I can describe it).

Yes they do go in channel, they use a strip of tape to hold them in place on the inside of the channel. The front shades do not have tape becouse they go all the way from the back of the window to the door, and can't fall out. As Black Rose said it's tough to describe. I have them as well, and couldn't be happier.

If you are talking about the red HHR with the weathertechs you'd have to ask 808jrh because it's his ride. All I can tell you is that these are the lighter colored ones.

I have the in channel type and I like them a lot... They look cool and have some function too them as well.
I also like having the ability of leaving my windows down without worry.
