brake master cyl & rotors

anyone have any info on these recalls ? rg3

What recalls are you talking about ? If you post the info or a link it would help. As far as I know there are no recalls for those items.
Lots of folks have had issues with rotors. Haven't seen anyone with master cylinder problems.

Nope , no recalls, and since the last of our beloved trucklets was built 6 years ago , I doubt there's anything GM will do about a dead product line.
The master cylinder may leak into the booster, if that's the issues, replace the booster and the master cylinder.
As for front rotors, that song has been sung more than Happy Brithday and White Christmas combined, it has been addressed many times , some like myself have upgraded our front rotors to a larger diameter, most with drum brakes on the rear have read and adhered to the adjustment guidelines of Donbrew.
