I went in to the dealer this morning and had the ignition recall work done. I ask to see the parts ahead of time and would they mind if I took some pictures to post up on this forum.
The parts guy said no problem, but advised me there would be no replacement key cylinder in the box. Why ? Because my HHR has already had the key cylinder replaced under a previous recall/tsb or whatever.

So. Here's some pics and visible part numbers for the GM ignition recall kit(minus the key cylinder of course)
(the ignition switch does say, Assembled in Mexico )

 

My 62 day wait just doesn't seem worth it. (Mine is done, btw)

mine was done back in May, no issues at all!!
