greenied.....

I'm glad the GM "system" stepped up and provided you a remedy. There is a wealth of information on this forum from very knowledgeable people and this outcome proves it.

That's right! I know I never would have been able to get this completed at no charge without the help of everyone here. I'm well and truly thankful!

This special Customer Satisfaction repair that I am speaking of should be attached to your VIN and the dealer should be able to see it on the GM vehicle information system......and NO CHARGE.
Gotta love this forum.

Yes, now get your shifter and ignition work done.
Youll be glad you did!

That's the plan....Only thing is, it hasn't happened since posting. But likely will when I least expect it.

Dealer said it was illegal to fix something else on my ride while I have a TPMS light on from a dead sensor battery, said they must fix that first. No way would I pay $90. per sensor there + labor.

Then buy a set off RockAuto and have your local shop install them!

Ok, but park the panel , as it is in an unsafe condition to operate, due to the recall not performed yet.

Blue- Thank You for your concern. It's parked right now.
But the recall began in 2013, I believe.

So, you’ve ignored the recall letter since then?
