Yea, the prices for a '10 hhr ss are pretty high. I just got my crystal red 5-speed, fully loaded- sticker was 28,250! I did some shopping around and found a dealer who sold it to me for 25,700, out the door! thats with tax, license, misc fees! I have had it for just over a month now and already have 6500 miles on it! I drove to california and back 2 weeks ago (from Michigan). Always shop around, every dealer is different.

In 2015 I got a used 2010 HHR SS, victory red with 9k on the odometer for 14K out the door. It was in Canada, so I had to pay shipping. Totally worth it
