$28k???

So I was on my lunch break and decided to head over to the local dealer just to look around. They had a white LS panel and a black SS auto (and 2 zr1's!!). Just for giggles, I decided to take a look at the sticker on the SS. 2010, auto, sunroof, seemed to have all the goodies. $27865. I almost fell over in the parking lot. Sticker shock to say the least...didn't think they were quite that much.

Although, it would look very good in my driveway

We have a silver one for that exact same price. Just doesn't seem right.

I saw a 5 Speed SS that if it had the Automatic would have been over $29K

The 08's were just under $28K and the price has gone up several times since.

Most people can buy them for less than $24K in most areas. Back in 08 you could get LOADED ONE FOR $21k.

Sticker prices for new 2010 SS in Canada are $34 - 35K. Then again, the Canadian dollar was worth the same as the U.S dollar at some point. So I think $27K would be a damn good price here.

I guess I was thinking in the 25k range. What was more surprising is that they had 2 ZR1's on the lot. A silver and a black one...oh winning lottery numbers, where art thou?

See, I'd be all over that if I was looking for a new one.

According to Jeff Hardy, there is about 450, UNSOLD, ZR1's at various Chevrolet dealers.

Didn't look at the other Vette Models.

Prices were just announced for the 11's. All models went up about $20. The ZR went up about $3000.
