08 HHR SS Aftermarket Manual Shift Knob

If anybody has put an aftermarket shift knob on their manual HHR SS that still works with the reverse lock out. Would like to know what you did and see some pics. I know it will entail threading the shaft. Curious what products you went with.
Thanks in advance.

2 companies out there that made shift knobs and short throw shifters for the HHR were TWM and BPS (Billet Pro Shop). I thought TWM Performance had an adapter you could use with their shift knobs on the stock shifter, I went to check their website and it looks like they went out of business a little while ago. BPS doesn't look like they are making shifters or shift knobs now either but at least they are sill in business. I know there are some posts about BPS shift knobs on HHR/Cobalts out there so I'm sure they sold adapters at one point, maybe you can email them and see if they can help you out.

I used an ottp short shifter on both my built LNF/F23 car and my LHU/F35 car along with 4H tech short shifter arms on both. I like the delrin ball but needed something slightly higher on my built car
