So you picked up 25whp and 35wtq from the exhaust upgrade? That was also because of tune correct?

one question, isn't the bsr just a tune? if so why you have that and hptuners?

08redhhrss 09-22-2008 09:06 PM

what was your launch and shift technique? No lift shift and launch control or all just good driving skills?

Same reason I'm contemplating buying the HPT... start with the BSR, which is a pretty good base tune, then open up some of the parameters you want that the BSR won't let you, and the HPT isn't the place to create a base tune since it can't (yet) reach as many parameters as the BSR.

XXL got part of it....but I also way the first to test the BSR tune (we are a dealer for them) and at the time hp was not fully working...but we have that at the shop also so I did some playing around after the fact. Now to the fun part...I do not use the launch control imo it sucks...Turn off traction and esc leave at 2500-3000 and then use the no lift and you are on your way.

So I can't belive I'm the first to ask this, but how much hp do yo think your puttin down. Assuming that 230ish is stock, 280ish is a bsr tune.........

crazysteve 09-23-2008 07:24 PM

on our superflow dyno it put down 290hp and 350ft/lb with current mods started life at 220hp and 240ft/lb

260 is stock and I think I heard that some people are putting down 260+ whp. That is past the LT1 Camaro HP rating
