Well,,, you quessed it.(wrong filter again!) a flat box was handed to me,,and they showed me the number it says is for my application, and it matched the number on the box.
The guy went online and looked it up on wix's site,,and he found one with a xxxxx59 number (Cobalt SC) he was gonna call their tech line today, and get it straightened out the info on the filter matched the dimensions given in a prev post here , so i'll prob end up with the right filter with what you guys said it was in the first place I'm hoping to get Wix to change their info in their books , so others will not have this problem in the future. My lil contribution to fellow HHR SS'rs here and around the world LOL

My local NAPA dealer is still clueless (as of 2009_02_10) about how to get a correct filter (including K&N) for the SS, all their catalogs are screwed up. I ended up with a new GM Filter and then ordered a K&N element straight from K&N which I have in now.
