Thanks very much....would be interested to see a split for Canada as well.
Looks like I have the most common SS of all. Black, auto, black seats etc. Fine by me.

Considering it would've taken over a month to get exactly what I wanted (had to have side airbags, but didn't want sunroof or need 6 disc CD) if I didn't take what was at my non preferred dealer on the floor, I wasn't to be too picky.

Thanks for shearing the list will us!!! It's very interesting to see what exterior/interior color combinations are rare and the ones that are most common!
It looks like my car's exterior color (8%), interior color (7.2%), with manual transmission (7.8%) is not very common, although, I have seen a couple in my area.

Nothing is missing. This is just one of GM's list for the major options. Side airbags are also missing.

I am sure they have those items on a more complete list somewhere but this is what was sent.

This list is mostly colors and drivetrain options. Thery did include things like radio but there are a few of the smaller items left off.

Either way it gives us an ideas of what was built and how few 08 SS models there were. I had figured it was 5K-7K but it was less.

By my math 3.9% of 4519 SS's built is 176 rounded up.

176 sound about right since I have yet to ever see that color. It looks like you have a rare one!

Scott said there is enough info here to get most of the questions answered. But he did note we would have to spend the time to work out the numbers since they are in % and we will have to work from the total numbers produced listed.

So there are 4519 SS models on the roads (I guess some are still on dealer lots), so that is about 100 per state, yet I have never seen one on the road. Weird.

But even the most common SS is still a very rare bird in the world today.
