Sorry, it's 28% of 4519 were 5sp and 5.2% of 4519 were imperial blue. So it's possible (doubt it) that all 235 imperial blue's were 5 speeds. There were, maybe, 10 listed on dealer lots around here for all of 2008. So unless people ordered one like me, doubtful I'll see very many.

I will send Scott a e mail of thanks for all on this web site.

I would not be suprised if he has not been on here from time to time. He reads a lot of Chevy web sites.

Sweet

Thanks for the info, I know we've all been waiting for some #'s . Seems all 5 speeds will be pretty rare I'm glad i went with the gray interior !!!

Man i love this ride !! I'm thinking i'm not gonna see too many black 5speeds with grey interior, sunroof, side airbags , 7 speaker, xm, driving around town.

Go with throttle up , Launch sequence activated ,
Whoooooa , shiiiiii____ !!!!!!!!

I wander if he can get this info for the Cobalt guys. I know there are many, many threads on cobaltss.net asking about production numbers since 2005 and they didnt seem to have any luck.

That is Fantastic news! Thank-you! As with everyone else, more than pleased with my little blacked out SS. Now that the #'s are out does anyone know what the starting build #'s are so we can find the build order of our SS'?

With Production #'s so low would the VIN start at 635,000-636,000?

With that question in mind my Build Date was Jan '08 VIN 636,978
would that make the car the 1,978 or 978 in the production run since I took delivery very early upon release?

Thanks
Christien

So there are 4519 SS models on the roads (I guess some are still on dealer lots), so that is about 100 per state, yet I have never seen one on the road. Weird.

I guess the people in the U.S. forget that there are HHR SSs in Canada. Wouldn't that make it a little less per state or you could make that 51 states . I guess 4900 or so HHR SSs made does make it kinda rare if the demand for it is there later on. Doesn't matter as long as you enjoy your ride

My guess would be GM could easily put out these sheets for any vehicle, and year. All someone needs to do it ask.
