If that is a legitimate "melt", I would say someone was running nitrous or water/meth...and didn't do it right...just a guess though

Not sure what a Legitimate means, as far as I knew from the day I bought it, she was stock, no mods at all.....I was planning on a stage III kit....as far as I can figure the mod in the ECU was a Turbo pressure boost....I have only got 15 miles on the new motor, and I am in break-in mode for 1000 miles...1st oil change check at bolts, the back at it.....

More than likely, the tune was too lean. Very common on HPT tuned cobalts on CSS dot net.
