2008 SS Rear Brake/Axle Questions?

Here is one post where that guy says he didn't change the proportioning valve or master cylinder when he did his axle swap. I know the rules state "YOU MUST DO THIS" but with the HHR the braking power of the rear drum vs. rear cobalt SS disc may be close enough to work properly... (seeing as so many people are driving around with hardly any rear brakes because of the non adjusting self adjusters... this swap could only improve braking)

Heck, can always ADD it on later if I felt the need was there.
Curious about the ABS and Traction Control myself as well.

Traction Control shouldn't be involved as that's a transmission/front axle deal (Not to be confused with ESC, Electronic Stability Control which does apply to all 4 wheels I believe)
But yeah ABS could be a hassle without changing modules/reflashing/whatever...
