2009 HHR SS information...

I know there have been a few rumors about what will / won't be available on the 2009 HHR SS. What do we know for sure? I'll add the information (along with any provided links) in this first post for easy reference. I have a few questions of my own:

- Will we know FOR SURE what will / won't be available on the 2009 HHR SS BEFORE Chevrolet stops taking orders on the 2008 HHR SS's? (We did a REAL GOOD job last year having a lot of information about the HHR SS before the official GM introduction.)

- When can we expect the model year switchover?

What we know for sure:

- There will be a limited edition 2009 HHR SS Panel version available. Read the article / press release at http://www.autoblog.com/2007/10/28/s...-hhr-panel-ss/.

What is rumored:

- Reconfigurable Performance Display
- Bluetooth Interface For Phone & USB Port In Radio
- Four New Colors (Silver Ice, Gold Mist, Aqua Blue & Clarinet Red)
- Rear Back-Up Camera
- Side Curtain Air Bags Standard On All Models
- New Cloth Fabric On Seats With Standard Soil Protection

All rumors so far come from the following thread: https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/hhr-ss-45/new-info-09-ss-panel-13182/

You probably own't hear GM's word on the 2009 model until after ordering for the 2008 stops. That is usually during the summer. Rumors will run wild of course.

in order for Chevy to make a yellow HHR, they have to paint other vehicles at the same factory yellow, and of course they aren't going to do that.
Got that from a GM insider.

Ewww. I'd rather just have the boost gauge.
