I believe only the Cobalt has the a-pillar mounted reconfig display...

There's a picture somewhere of an HHR SEMA vehicle with a crazy red leather dash, with stitching around the edges... have a close look at that one, you can see a display thingamajig in place of the center storage cubby.

I'll try to find the picture I'm thinking about.

 

Here, look close... behind the steering wheel... the display is hiding there.

 

I just read that the 2009 will have 2.2 and 2.4 FlexFuel engines. See more at:
