btw - has anybody written a DIY clutch install on these yet?

I have a feeling I'll be doing a few of these, thank God for my lift :)

I don't think there was ever a specific bulletin on any HHR for clutch slip due to a rear main seal leak, but there was a bulletin that covered all GM vehicles concerning this. It's an old bulletin that they add the new model years onto as they come out.

When I went to get my clutch upgrade the mechanic was showing me some type of service advisory/warning (that came up on his software with pics) to look out for having to do with the tranny case cracking and leaking oil due to excessive wheel hop. Is this something that is listed in your GM service manuals as well? I don’t think I’ve read anyone complain about this happening.

Another thing I noticed before my clutch upgrade is that it would only slip when the car was cold. Once everything warmed up above 194 I would no longer feel any slipping.
