I didn't like the stripes on the Imperial blue, may be different on red. Ray Chevy in Fox Lake has one red and one imperial blue as of this morning. They're a real treat to work with there and will tell you anything to get the deal (I bought mine elsewhere...)

I have the dual smoke stripes, 47A. I assume the silver is the same style, just different color.....

Sure! I think it adds a bit by breaking up the top and bottom half of the vehicle. Mine was brought in from another dealer as well, so I had no idea what the stripes were going to look like either til it arrived. They are vinyl, not paint, so worse case you can peel them off if you don't like them.

Stripes.....

I have the same stripe package......except bright silver..........When the dealer called me that their first HHR/SS was in early in the year and it was Victory Red......I thought ....hey , right color..........When I looked at it with the silver stripe package.....I wasn't sure I liked it. Since they were supposed to get just one Red one and ended with two identical SS's, they offered to deduct the stripe package price if I would take one of the two. In the past when I was faced with this situation, I just stripped the stripes.......So I figured to do the same here......But when I got it home and spent more time looking at it, I decided I liked it.......After all I could always take them off later, and I so to speak , got them free.......The longer I've owned it , the more I like them.......It's great that there are not paint.....and thank the Lord for vinyl.....So with the vinyl stripe package, you've got a choice.......WW .......... BTW: Woodrow's pic is in the gallery.......page 56

Hadn't seen any HHR's with that striping here - everyone has just a single or twin strip, but those with the lager strip breaking out and the HHR insignia at the tail, look rather cool. I can see why it would grow on you, not sure I would be stripping them off either

Well, the car showed up without the stripes . . . . . . Oh well, I am not a big fan of stripes.

Love it though!
