Do the 5 speeds not have arm rests or is it just mine...

Nope, I wish they did. I really want one in mine.

Anything aftermarket or from the base models fit?

ya gotta have the arm rests... it helps lock your elbow between them, and is the closest thing to Oh ****! handles we got.

I goy mine at an auto zone for 20 $ , did a re-cover with some leather . It's been on for 3 plus years , not sure if i could drive it with out it.

Not sure if the 5 speed manual seats have the armrest area on the seat just covered or not, but if they are just a cover over where they would be installed you can get this Wide single one. You can see the side cover in this picture.

I believe you can find them on ebay as well.

I like the 2 small oem ones on my Automatic, I put the passengers side down and lean my arm on that one. Keeps my coffee and coin holder in easy reach as well.

Was it a arm rest meant for HHR or just one off the shelf that would fit.. Does it screw into the sides like the stock one?
