Except that it is a cam driven pump, not a solenoid. It may be sending a message.

Personally, The 'quarter panel' is option AA5, and I would jump on that in a minute and fix the issues as they arise.

Isn't the HPFP (High Pressure Fuel Pump) on the left side of the engine towards the front ?
He said he heard it on the right side near the chains.

Just because you didn't have the air conditioning on, doesn't mean it wasn't running. The compressor will run when set to defrost or heat, also on recirculation.

Just to clarify, yes he stated the right side.

The second question is this there is a sound coming from the right side of the engine next to where it says turbo on that top piece that almost sounds like what the air conditioner compressor sounds when it engages and disengages sort of that spinning cylinder head sound but it kept going in and out in and out in and out in and out never stopped I did not have the air conditioner on so it's not I know it's not that.

looking into the engine bay , the pump is on the right. By the thingy that says Turbo

And that's where the confusion is. The right side of the vehicle is the passenger side.

The HPFP is under the black charge piping. The silver disc below the front corner of the airbox might be the source. It's part of the high pressure fuel system.

But if he truly means the right side, and it sounds to him like the compressor, it may be the compressor.

Correct, so we will simply wait, he does state yes it’s the HPFP. But we wait for confirmation

One of the first things I was taught in repairing cars.
R/S passenger side
L/S drivers side.
And I agree, let's wait for the OP to return.

Correct , right seat is passengers and left is drivers side.
A universal way to communicate positions like, flat right rear , means passengers side rear.

I guess that left/right, driver/passenger stuff doesn't work in places like England.
