Aeroforce and RPD

My SS has the RPD but I would also like to add the Aeroforce guage in the factory drivers side A pillar. I realize the Aeroforce duplicates many of the same functions as the RPD but I would like the additional features of the Aeroforce plus I just like the look of the guage in the A pillar.

Is there any reason I couldn't add the Aeroforce in addition to having the RPD? Is the only connection required for the Aeroforce plugging into the OBDII port? Since my SS has the RPD I will need to purchase the A pillar originally designed for the standard boost guage. Can anyone provide me the part # for this piece?

Thanks!

GM wanted over 300$ for the pillar cover, gauge, speaker, screw and screw cover ( the only way they sell it) when I was looking into it. That being said, I glassed my own a pillar cover.
