I've enjoyed my sunroof although I'm taking it in to the dealership because of a rattle that the sunroof has developed when open.

I've got a '10 with the factory roof and if I had a choice I would have a steel roof. I find it tends to produce a lot of wind noise at triple digits as it gets sucked out.

If I have the roof open I have the windows open too and the radio up.

With Metallica I get no wind noise.

Aftermarket Sunroofs

I have had two aftermarket sunroofs and NO problems with either. I used them all the time, and yes both had AC too.
I don't usually drive on the eway with the sunroof open - Sunroof is for cruising Spring, Fall, and cool nights. Use air when its hot.

I would rather have one from the factory. You will lose some headroom as well so that might be something to consider. I have a stock sunroof and I use it when I can, but I could go either way.
