I have not found any mods that reach out and grabbed me for my 2008 SS. I also have a Black 2006 LT and am so close to a Black Panel SS I could taste it. So i'll have three black HHR's. I saw a lip splitter that looked kinda cool. I have purple lights from fog to head to under carriage to inside, to wheel wells. Am considering going with purple rims just not sure yet. But if anyone has any interesting mod ideas please give me a shout. OH BTW. We have all heard 200 or so pnaels were made. I am curious about the actual numbers as far as spli window panel and full panel. That has to change the numbers dont you think?

 

That number, more or less, is for SS panels. About the same for AA5 “half panels.” Pretty rare, but then, the kids that will be blowing their legacies on rare expensive cars in 20 years weren’t exactly lusting after them when they were new.

I if you have a prime specimen of a rare car, the best thing you can do for it is to put it in showroom trim. Resto-mods do no harm when executed on a less-than-pristine example of a not-so-rare car. Just my opinion.

If you modify a collectible car without the benefit of very good judgement, you will not only harm the value, you will be regarded as a vandal.

SS AA5 2009 only , only 199 built

both are rare if original, many clones have been built.
I know of a IBM panel, 5 speed, very low mileage, only 4 were built. I missed it to purchase in 2011, it’s not available as far as I know.
