The biggest thing on buying one is get one not modified. I have sold a lot of part for these and half of the people have no idea what they are doing. You could end up with a real mixed bag of problems.

I have both a SS HHR with the upgrade and a SS trailblazer, both with about 18,000 miles.

They're quite different though the trailblazer seems more solid, less computerized than the HHR.

The only real difference is it's old gm tech, which some may like, but it's still last generation dash, switchgrear, etc..

It's been much more reliable than the HHR.

The upside is it's very solid, and runs strong. I wouldn't compare it to a corvette with a trunk, more of a tall Hemi Charger.

I love it, actually find it kind of a sleeper as nobody really knows what it is, until you start it up.

I do find it interesting though as going 90 in the TB, feels like your going 150, going 110 in the HHR SS feels like your going 80.

actually, my son bought one after his first tour of the sandbox. he had one torson diff warrantied , but other than that no troubles. we've heard the transmission doesn't tolerate much additional power upgrades, but have no trouble withit stock and its a pretty fast truck. we're looking forward to running heads up at the track with our 2010 HHR SS. the Trlblzr SS is supposedly good for high 13's off the showroom floor

some people can get 13s with awd, even the rwds launch hard and I've seen quite a few in the low 12s with bolt ons, tune, and a cam. its just another lsx powered vehicle lol.

I adore the TTBB and Sabb 9.7x Aero. I wanted to buy one for my new work vehicle but didn't. AWD burn outs was a perk to me, lol. I have a lead foot. I love it since it was the LS2 just like my GTO was which was nice and simple.

I just couldn't convince myself to spend that much on a car that will get messed up by the children I drive around at work.

Did he know you were racing..... Even the 2wd version will smoke the HHR SS. Numbers don't lie unless you went past his 130 max speed, which I hope your not gonna say you did.

this = incorrect. the tbss is just barely faster in a quarter mile, with professional drivers. from a roll the tbss would lose, especially the awd.
