Anyone powder-coated their SS wheels?

I was wondering what the stock SS wheels would look like powder-coated black on my black SS. It would be a way to have something a little different until I can afford some aftermarket wheels.

Nice, EXACTLY what I was looking for as I was pondering both ideas, but I think I would go all black if I get them done, just have to find a place that can do them here for a reasonable price, and figure out what the hell I am going to put on my HHR while they are being done!

I want to black out the front grills and fog light housings as well as all of the emblems and the headlights/taillights.

If you're going to do it, spend the money and do it right. I saw way too many tC's (my old car) online that had the stock wheels ghetto-fab'd with various paint combinations that basically looked like garbage. While I'm not generally a fan of bright wheels on cars, I think ours look pretty good as-is, so don't wreck what's not broken.

My fronts are powder coated black all the time from brake dust.

I was thinking of doing mine RED to match the color of the car. Anyone done that yet?
