Auto Start Problems

I tried to use my auto start for the first time and it didn't work. How does this work? I thought you just pressed the button and it should start. Can it be turned on and off with the display?
Thanks
Pat

First push the door lock button.

Second press and hold down the remote start button.

That's it. Holding down the remote start button until it starts (2-3 seconds) is usually the key to happy starting, but don't skip step one.

Press your lock button twice, then press and hold the start button until it turns over.

You first press the lock button. Then you hold the auto start button for 3 seconds and the car should start up just fine. Once you know how to use it you will never do without it!

Unless it is different on the SS, you only need to press the lock button once, then the start one.

FYI: The vehicle will run for 10 minutes after ther remote start event. You can start it again after that and it runs 10 more minutes and then the key has to turn the ignition switch before another remote start event will occur.

If you ever forget the steps mentioned here, they should be stamped on the back of the FOB.

DOH! That's how the salesman explained it to me. It worked, so I went with it. Now that's what I get for listening to a salesman.

RED, come on, be honest.... Did you forget (or not know about) hitting the lock button first?
