Boost Gauge Flicker Fix! For now at least

Since the dealer replaced my boost gauge, worked on something for another hour after that, then stated the flicker was gone, yet I get in the car the following morning and the light still flickers, I decided to check the fuses. I figured I would check them all just to make sure they are seated properly and found several of them didn't seem to be in all the way. Everything worked to my knowledge before, and nothing really changed after, except my boost gauge no longer flickers.

I would say try this before you mess with the dealer. I still have to go back sometime for them to look at my lock again, half the time I have to go in through the back door and manually unlock the door.

Hmm, may have to add that to the list when I feel like taking it in. Mine does it sometimes too but it really doesn't bother me much.

Ive got a list piling up to:

Boost gauge flicker
Lift gate buckling
paint chips needs to be fixed from doors rubbing on each other (got the door alignment fixed already)
Driver seat issues

think thats it. plus some upgrades like Stage 1 kit and thinking of getting splash guards (mud flaps) too. The protection they give is starting to out weigh how they would look on the car.

Funny how the default "loose fuse" solution isn't mentioned ANYWHERE in the TSB...

I checked all my fuses after they replaced the gauge and it still flickers. I have officially been told my eyes are so good, that's why I can see the flicker... yeah... that's why I need glasses?

I had my boost gauge replaced and it flickered less, but still does it from time to time.

OK guys... The answer is... drum roll...

The dimmer control. If it's set to max brightnes you get flicker. Back it off just a tad and no more flicker.
