Boost Gauge Question

Hey there, I am new to the forums and to the hhr family. I recently bought a 2008 hhr ss and I am having a issue locating a factory boost gauge. I have searched a lot of the forums and I have not read anything yet, so sorry if this has already been answered. I would greatly appreciate the help.. Thanks!

The gauge itself is on the A-Pillar to the left of the driver.

Tried getting one through a dealer ?
Second option would be scouring the want ads.
Third. Try to locate one in a wrecking yard.

One question. Why do you need a replacement ? Not normally a part that breaks.

Thanks. It is stuck at 5psi, even when I turn off the ignition. It still lights up and moves a hair when I first turn the key to the on position. I am figuring it is just stuck..

Perhaps if you find another local ss owner you could switch gauges for testing.

Yeah, it could be a sending unit issue. I'd swap it for a borrowed gauge first.
